My sister, Sierra, was an extraordinary girl and around her unexplainable things happened. She didn't have a secret, she was the secret, and we hid her like one hides treasure that isn't theirs to keep. Of all the many odd happenings that befell us while she was here, the oddest was when she was taken away. For on that night- the night two beautiful strangers broke into our home and carried her off -everyone who'd ever known her, who'd ever spoken to her, who'd ever loved her, forgot her. It was as though someone had peeled open their minds and scraped the memory of Sierra clean out. They'd forgotten she'd ever been born- they'd forgotten she'd ever existed. Every. One. Everyone, except me. My name is Alessa Mae Knight. I'm looking for my sister. Have you seen her?
