Steve and Tony went on vacation in Paris. As the newly weds are having fun strolling around the city of love, Tony somehow got kidnapped.
He was saved later and got into depression. The event traumatised him and they were suspecting Steve. Nobody knows what happened since Tony didn't talk at all.
