(Y/n) and Will are best friends, they have been since they were as little as 1 year old. The thing that instantly drew them together was their almost identical pasts. (Y/n) mom also died in childbirth, but her father wasn't a warrior, no one told her what he was. They both turned up on the same week and had notes attached to their baskets, but the most prominent thing was that their other yearmates have last names, they don't.

When they are 15 and choosing day comes around, both are nervous they wont be accepted into as an apprentice to any craftmasters. While Will lacks the strong and burly figure to be a warrior, (Y/n) lacks the elegance and diplomacy to be a successful Courier. What happens when for the first time in history a Ranger chooses 2 apprentices? And one of them is a girl?!

She uses her special skills to help protect 'human' storages from thugs making there to be rumors of a white tiger making her to hate it as only the employer knows about her special condition to her special skills and she was registered. Thanks to the 'Female Human' for the forms and paperwork to file her special skills with her condition added to help out in case anyone went up against her in a fight. She is full-blown self-taught how to fight and she even learned how to use swords. Can a sorting someone calm her down before she kills someone cause they got her pissed off and she wants to kill them for it? First off, this story was not written by me. I am posting it for a friend of mine, with permission of course. This took place in a Dungeons & Dragons game over 30 years ago. It is a about how one of the player characters got his start; Crentar Bronn. He is a human ranger of 1st level in this story. This is important to note, because it'll bring more perspective as you read the story. I was the DM (Dungeon Master) for this game. At the time, we were still in high school, which of course, gives away our age. lol I decided to have each character do it solo before they actually met up with each other. A teaser so-to-speak. Eventually, there was five player characters in the game. My friend who ran Crentar Bronn remembers this whole solo adventure to this very day in great detail. A few years after the game is when he wrote this story. We were recently reminiscing about 'old times' and he told me that he actually wrote it out as a story. He was then able to find it on an old hard drive & then sent it to me. I was very surprised at how good this is & how great his memory was from that adventure. I'm flattered that he was so inspired by it, that he turned it into a story! I hope you enjoy this early adventure of Crentar Bronn as much as we did. Perhaps, with enough comments & likes, he'll be inspired to write more chapters. THX
