Detective Shane Ward struggles with solving a series of murders in the state of Louisiana. He calls in the help of Dr. Kendra Mills, a clinical psychologist to solve the mystery. Dead-ends, a blooming romance, secrets and a lot of inner struggles seems to always throw them off course. Will they solve the mystery of the deadbeat killer leaving a path of destruction as he seems to rid the world of one deadbeat parent after another?
