That is until he gets badly injured in a previous fight, now Uraraka thinks it would be best for him to have a partner until he learns 'Self-care'. Except his partner happens to be Katsuki Bakugo, the number two hero in Japan. What could go wrong?------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Excerpt below "The doctor said you got lucky enough to survive the attack- what the hell were you thinking?!" Uraraka asked, her jaw clenching. "I- I wasn't." His voice was hoarse, cracking a few times as he spoke. "It was either face Shigaraki or let hundreds of- of civilians die. What was I supposed to do?" He defended, letting his eyes narrow into slits. "Wait. For. Backup. We were only a few minutes away!" She huffed, sleepily rubbing the dark circles under her eyes. "And how many people would have died in those few minutes Uraraka?" Izuku retorted. She sighed, he was right. He was always right, there's just no use in arguing with him- because he's just going to keep doing it again and again. Izuku is the number one hero after all. An idea rose to mind, it was fairly terrible...but it seemed like the only option. "Look," Uraraka started, lightly grabbing his free hand into hers, "I get it, a lot of people could have gotten hurt- and thanks to you they didn't." "But?" Izuku raised. "But, just because you're a pro doesn't mean you go head first into danger- especially with a wanted villain, without some type of backup! So...I think you need a partner." She cringed back at the end, knowing he wasn't going to like the idea in the slightest bit.
The Little and the Giant (Ushijima Wakatoshi x Reader) by Jo-chan
101 parts Ongoing Mature
It was the absolute rule of the court that he plays on The canon, Ushijima Wakatoshi only needed to be given a high toss in order to score a point. And the rule had been absolute ever since he was in junior high. Whoever they were, whatever their position was, wherever they came from, he had beaten them more than they could retaliate, and this was an apparent fact. The absolute rule has always been followed. It should have been followed... If you weren't on the opposing side. After all, this absolute rule of an absolute point... does not apply to you. And Ushijima Wakatoshi knows this fact- he had known ever since he had first met you, had trained with you and he still knows it now. The ball rotated in a nasty rotation as it was almost disfigured when it left the slam of the athlete's hand. You whistled as you saw it at first. And here he says he was just playing casually. You swoop in on the angle it was directed to, adjusting the balls of your feet as to stabilize your body for the impact, and received it head on. And they could all see it. How the nasty spin of the ball who would leave most players helpless was instantly being killed as soon as it landed in your forearm. The athlete could only grin at the familiar view once again. But this had always been the case and Ushijima Wakatoshi knows. The callouses on your arms and hands were a testament of the feats you've accomplished as an athlete, of feats he didn't knew were possible. If he was an eagle preparing to take flight in the professional stage, your place in that sky has already been engraved. And he often finds himself wondering- How can someone so small be bigger than he is? - A/N: Warning for Size difference and eventual smut. Warning that the reader is an OP (overpowered) character. It says Ushijima x reader but its actually an OC, just written in a second pov.
