One HELL of a wish!
Bryan Sky, an 18 year old, one day makes a wish as a joke. He doesn't think much of it until randomly, his wish comes true. He felt terrified, more afraid and confused than ever- but his Lifelong best friend Tyler O'Connor was there for him along way. Will they figure out how to reverse what happened? Books Aren't Like The Real World Spin-Off (Oh BrEe WhYd YoU cHaNgE tHe CoNcEpT?!: Because I can.) ------- There's a legend that tells a tale of a group of 7, immortal and dangerous. They roam around Earth every few centuries and destroy what mankind works hard for. That is, if this legend is even true at all. -|-|-|-|-|- *Warning* -Profanity -Completely rushed -Lots of characters you have to remember -|-|-|-|-|- Seven emotions: Rage, Fear, Envious, Sadness, Happy, Disgust, and Anticipation, all with their certain powers. Ideally, they're immortal, but the more power they use, the more their life shortens. Certain requirements had to be made so that they could live on Earth and breath the oxygen. And after so many years of fighting and fighting, having almost no time to live the lives they want, they give up, spending what normal teenagers would use to play video games or go shopping to train and increase their magic. With another big attack coming along soon, Rage is going to go into Immortal's Death for sure, Envious, Happiness and many others are certainly going to be on the brink of it. So begins his journey as an advancer-- a title given to those who use magic to shape the world to their will. I've always been a fan of progression fantasy. However, I do feel disappointed by many of them, with too many characters that vanish into irrelevancy, sometimes arcs that are overly repetitive and a lack of characters ideals. In this story, I aim to instill more character ideals, motivations, and integrate said characters throughout the story, and ensure their interaction with the main character remain relevant to his heart. Perhaps, it's best to say I want the story to have a 'human spirit' that one could feel in old-school wuxia and action/adventure stories.
