Primsharah will become the center of a deadly play, with the powers of the gods themselves at stake ...

***

Refusing to watch his family crumble beneath the weight of poverty, Arran has resorted to stealing from the rich to provide for his mother and sister. His ability to bend light prevents him from being caught ... until one day, he is. His captors have no intention of turning him in, though, instead making him an offer that he cannot resist, but which will change the course of his future forever.

Meanwhile, Princess Serafina, heir to the throne of Primsharah, welcomes an unusual suitor in the royal palace. This stranger brings a dangerous gift for her father: the Sphere of Truths, one of the ten World Artifacts, created by the gods themselves. As the Shah sinks deeper into his obsession with the Sphere, Inna starts experiencing visions about a thief stealing another Artifact, the Amulet of Doom. A deathly curse is bound to the Amulet, and its theft will set in motion a series of events which might destroy Primsharah for good ... and the world along with it.

Together, Arran and Inna flee across the desert to find out who is stealing the Artifacts and why. But Arran's time is limited as the curse flows through his veins, with no hope for salvation save for the stubborn princess who is determined to see his survival.

Magic, desert and creatures of myth weave a tale of fragile hope, large-scale betrayal and fierce friendship between two people whose fates should never have crossed paths at all.

Book #1 RUDRANSHxAADHYA "Do you know what I do with traitors?" His voice was hard but shaky, like he was barely holding back his rage. I shook my head, fear gripping me as I tried to stay still. His lips twisted into a cruel smile, amusement mixed with malice. "I make them regret it," he whispered, his breath warm against my skin. The knife hovered near my throat. My heart raced, each beat echoing my terror. I didn't dare move or breathe as his eyes searched mine for any hint of defiance. "But since you're mine, and I can't hurt you," he continued, his voice calm despite the heat of his breath, "I'll go after the one who dared to touch what's mine. He won't see the next sunrise." Tears filled my eyes, and I shook my head. A cold chill ran through me as his tone turned deadly. "I'll make him suffer," he promised darkly. "He'll beg for mercy, but by the end, he'll wish he never even looked at you." His lips brushed mine as he whispered, sending dread coursing through me. "And when it's done, you'll know how far I'll go to protect what's mine." I looked into his eyes, the horror of what was coming sinking in. There was nothing I could do to stop him. The storm was coming, and it would leave only destruction behind. Join Rudransh and Aadhya on their rollercoaster ride, where betrayal and mistrust threaten to tear them apart at every turn. In a world where loyalty is fleeting and the line between love and hate blurs, they must navigate the dark shadows of their pasts and the dangerous forces that conspire against them.

"You will seek death but you will not find it. You will long to lose consciousness but ever present you shall stay. Finally alone you will shrivel up and die without your own kind in all your magnificent splendor, and only after everyone you love is dead. By then, it will no longer matter, for when you finally have your light you will depart from it faster than fire from a raging wind. But perhaps you would have comfort yet little one. Death is a sweet thing in a world like this." Cursed by a Wishing Dragon when she was only a dragonet, Stygian sets off in search of a cure, leaving behind everyone she knows and loves. On her journey for help she meets more enemies than friends, with a little red fox as her only companion. At last she finds Turbulence; God of Confusion; the only one who can save her, or so he or she claims. *** Fyran, the Librarian's Apprentice is on the hunt for Leviathan; a legendary beast long foretold by prophecy, a prophecy she had disregarded as an old fable. Yet, ever since her father stumbled into their broken down house one dark night covered in blood and deliriously talking about a dragon with iron teeth, Fyran is no longer so sure. After her father dies and renders them all penniless, Fyran goes in search of this creature to take revenge-and the huge bounty on its head issued by the King of Sufta. Perhaps she will be successful and they'll no longer have to grovel as the poorest of the poor, and at the very least she'll acquire justice for the murder of her father, the only father she's ever had. But there is an old and forgotten prophecy as old as time fast approaching on the horizon. Nobody can stop it, fate is a force that can't be reckoned with, and everything that ever has and will ever happen to every citizen has already been foretold in their scrolls. The fate of Sufta is uncertain, and powerful forces are at play, but who has enough discernment to understand a long forgotten prophecy that's been dismissed by generations?
