'"And so it is with great pleasure that I, Odin, King of Asgard and protector of the Nine Realms, announce the royal engagement of my firstborn son, Thor, scion of Asgard," Odin's mighty voice booms through the crowds, making it nearly impossible to grasp the essence of his words.
"To the Lady Y/n of Vanaheimr, last hero-born of the Nine Realms!"
As my gaze flicks to the royal family, the wide and glossy eyes of the second born prince planted firmly at the All-Father's side, lock with mine. And it is then that I see it vanish from the eyes I so adore. Gone is the calm, gone the order.
It's the worst possible moment for the realisation to hit me square in the face.
I am devoted to him, the God of Mischief and Chaos. And that wholeheartedly.
Also am I now betrothed to the crown prince - his brother.'

Her birth had been a gift. Her life a promise.
Raised as the key to a prophecy foretold to save the Gods from their doom, fate links young Y/n to Asgard. And to its princes.
As the years pass them by, they grow inseparable.
However, when her heart gets entangled with the one, she is forced to choose the other. Consequences are what will follow. And they bear the name of Loki - God of Mischief and Lies.
But Loki has fallen. It's what he does. Fallen for false promises, fallen from grace, fallen from a bridge, fallen for a life he may never lead.
With their paths diverging across the realms, it is on Earth where they meet again. And that, on opposing sides.
Still, they cannot outrun fate - bound to unveil the lie behind their truth and the myth behind their reality.

▪︎MATURE CONTENT▪︎ Violence, Depression, Death, Sexual Content
▪︎SPOILERS▪︎ for the "Thor" trilogy & "The Avengers". Storytelling will occasionally alter from the films if need be.
▪︎ALL RIGHTS▪︎ of the characters (aside from those of my own creation) belong to Marvel, Stan Lee, etc. as well as to the norse myths they originated from.
You set out on a poorly planned mission to avenge a close friend and end up making an unlikely ally (Loki in disguise). The brief partnership ends up becoming more than a one-night-thing, despite everyone's best efforts, and soon you're enveloped in the world of Loki, prince of New-Asgard, and you have a newfound power growing within you - your own glorious purpose.
Romance is never easy, especially when gods and monsters are in play, but you're on a journey to become more than just Loki's paramour... you're becoming his Lady.
Story takes place in a wishful-thinking AU after Thor Ragnarok (Although I guess now every AU is kind of cannon, isn't it?). The Asgardians made it to Earth - Loki doesn't die. Natasha is still alive, Tony is still cocky and breathing, Vision is... around. Endgame and Infinity War are great, but let's keep the sad shit out of this one, shall we?
