The 53rd class of Hopes Peak Academy find themselves is quite the situation, when the 77th class blows up part of the building. That was until Kokichi Ouma, the Ultimate Supreme Leader, reveals himself as a traitor, having lied about all his intentions. He had never cared about the others, but was merely acting. *Lying*. He was an Ultimate Despair, second to that of Junko Enoshima. But is that really the truth of the matter? After the battle between hope and despair, Makoto Naegi, the Ultimate hope triumphed and the brainwashed remnants of despair were saved. The survivors of the first killing game, along with the participants of the second, all joined the Future Foundation, helping to restore the world back into its peaceful state. Yasuhiro Hagakure then makes a prophecy: "Some of the dead will return, not as themselves but as reincarnations. Two spirits will mix into one and they will be reborn."
