It all began on that fateful day. I won't bore you with the details of the months leading up to it; I won't tell you how I got here, exactly where I took the turn.
Then, not before, was I falling. Then, not before did my bones shatter impact, my tendons snapping, my frail body falling apart just as easily as breathing. There I lay, broken and twisted. Waiting for the final light to cease, the hand of the great darkness to smother me.
Then it did. And it was nothing like I anticipated. No one actually believes they will end up in a fiery pit of demons. Yeah, it pretty much sucked.
