Jessica Kahal Enthusiastically Participated In Many Extracurricular Activities

Jessica Kahal was an extremely talented band member of the Marching Band in her high school. She was actively involved in many competitions and events held during that time. She enthusiastically took benefit of every opportunity and gave her best. Praised by all her teachers and directors, she polished her skills of playing in a band with her teammates. Jessica also took active part in swimming events. Let’s have a look at the different fields in which she was eagerly involved:

Music

Jessica Kahal was a part of the Marching Band/Concert Band which was directed by Mr. Fesmire from 1999 to 2003. She has also shown her skills in Intermediate and Advanced Orchestra from 2000 to 2003, whose director was Mr. Marino. She also sung many songs in Choir and Jazz Choir from 2002 to 2003. With her good skills and expertise, she also got a chance to be a part of California State University Long beach Concert Band in 2003. Additionally, she has also played flute solo (Mozart, Flute Concerto in D Major) at 2002 Winter Concert with Adv. Orchestra. She has also been a part of Asian American Youth Symphony Orchestra from 2002 to 2003. Not only this, she also sung many songs in Choir and Jazz Choir. She has been awarded with Most Improved Advanced Orchestra in 2001.

Sports

Jessica Kahal is a very good swimmer and she gave many amazing performances at prestigious events. She knows all the techniques that a professional swimmer should know. She was praised by many of her teachers for her active participation in every swimming event. She was a part of the Girl’s Fresh/Sophomore and Varsity Swimming team from 1999 to 2003. Continuing with her passion for swimming, she was the member of Girl’s Fresh/Sophomore and Varsity Water Polo from 1999 to 2001. She also participated in CIF State Swimming and Diving Championships in Long Beach in 2002 (part of 4x50 Freestyle Relay and 4x50 Medley Relay). Her sporting attitude led her to win many competitions at large levels.
