"Suffocate" if the genre wasn't obvious enough already- Is a poem book. Some poems are about touchy subjects which include my opinions on matters that many readers may not agree with. Though, honestly, I couldn't care less if anyone thinks otherwise about my point of view on such trivial things.

I'm a young adult that has many years to improve in all aspects. Hence, my writing is far from perfect. So if you dislike my writing, don't read it. 
... Although it would be more ideal for me if my readers enjoyed it - we all can't have what we desire,  I guess.

I use countless editing methods to correct grammatical errors - but that doesn't mean it corrected everything. If you happen to come upon errors, kindly comment, and inform me. I'd like to fix it quickly to improve my reader's experience.

Any art included - whether that be the book cover or picture included with the book itself - is not mine. Only the writing belongs to me.

I reckon this book will vary from 15-25 poems until it's completed.

We all have untold stories and unresolved struggles. Life puts us through many hardships, and while we learn a lot from them, there are times when we feel like giving up. Sometimes, we become so numb that we can't even process what's happening because things go beyond what we expect. We carry emotions that are hard to explain to others, and sometimes, even to ourselves. But we need to stand up for ourselves. We have to make things better. We can't let negative overthinking make things worse. Please, don't ruin yourself-there are enough people out there who might try to bring you down. Focus on yourself. The journey of improving yourself is tough and tiring, but it's worth it. I write to inspire people to think in new and different ways. My goal is to help you focus on positive thoughts while accepting reality, even when it's difficult. I don't want anyone to suppress their emotions, but instead to face life's challenges with understanding. Life can be overwhelming, and the impact of events and people isn't easy to overcome, but we find a way to move forward. Through my words, I hope to help you see things from a new perspective. Don't let negative overthinking weigh you down-it can be destructive. It's not easy to control those thoughts, but trying is a step forward. Each day is a new beginning, just like you, so don't let your negative side take over. I hope my writing brings some comfort, holds meaning for you, and makes your journey feel a little lighter. I hope my words help you, even a little. I hope they encourage you to think more clearly and wisely. THE MOUNTAIN IS YOU By: Brianna Wiest This is a book about self-sabotage. Why we do it, when we do it, and how to stop doing it-for good. Coexisting but conflicting needs create self-sabotaging behaviors. This is why we resist efforts to change, often until they feel completely futile. But by extracting crucial insight from our most damaging habits, building emotional intelligence by better understanding our brains and bodies, releasing past experiences at a cellular level, and learning to act as our highest potential future selves, we can step out of our own way and into our potential. For centuries, the mountain has been used as a metaphor for the big challenges we face, especially ones that seem impossible to overcome. To scale our mountains, we actually have to do the deep internal work of excavating trauma, building resilience, and adjusting how we show up for the climb. In the end, it is not the mountain we master, but ourselves.
