"I'm sure you've sung that for hundreds of girls." she said, acting uninterested. "Nah, I don't sing songs for women." I say shrugging. "So why'd you just sing for me?" "Because, for some reason, the feeling I got singing songs for other girls doesn't compare to the feeling I get from singing a song for you." ---Synopsis--- Laila is fed up with her insanely loud neighbors. When she finally decides to confront them about it, she finds that not all her neighbors are completely terrible. One turns out to be a little more than "not completely terrible." When he uses his musical talents to try to get closer to Laila, she brushes it off thinking that he couldn't actually be interested in her. However, the closer she gets to him, the more she starts to develop feelings that she never expected and getting into situations she'd rather avoid. She has to learn to face the negativity from herself about her body image and the negativity from others about her new boy toy to truly experience the love she deserves. Can they get to the happy ending they want? And if so, can they stay there? By the way, each chapter of Songs for Women will be named after a song that I want to share. The song(s) may relate to the whole chapter, it may be a song that the character is listening to, or it may serve as a background song (like a soundtrack for certain scenes). I'll also provide a link to the song, Enjoy!! :)
