Long ago, the land was formed and the sea was raised. Civilizations appeared and grew. With each civilization came an Empire. War was at the face of the world, filled with powerful creatures. But five Sages of different lands joined together to end the war and became divine beings. To many, they were viewed as gods with their powerful magical capabilities.
But peace would be endangered when the powerful Demon Lord Yogumitzu came to the land of the living with a powerful forged weapon. The Sage's battle against the Demon Lord was near impossible and lasted for decades. In learning they can not defeat the lord, the Sages devised a different strategy.
With the full might of all the Sages together, they used a powerful seal against the Demon Lord to seal him away, but the sword of the Demon Lord remained. They took and hid the sword away from the world to hold and peace remained for 500 years...
After the time of the Sages, many advancements have been made, but a tale apart of their own would be told. Follow an unlikely batch of allies uncover pieces of the past, struggle through their journey, and do their best to help others in need. A co-written story by @CalWriteStory and @Patchiekopie

The peaceful atmosphere in their world cannot be enjoyed every day, the four of them must be ready if danger comes. Even on a bright and calm day, danger can come in groups, the hero finds a very strong enemy, a human from a heretical sect who is possessed by a demon. They are quite troubled because his black magic is too strong, some of his attacks they can block, but not all .... The wizard managed to create a great chaos that made the world tremble, putting one of the members of the protector in danger, the human. Before they could protect their team member, the wizard's magic shot managed to hit him and exploded, making him disappear without a trace. What happened to the warrior? This story and the one that going to follow " Beyond The Veil" are inspired by my experience watching the Chinese drama "Fangs of Fortune" and following a number of fanfics of it. But now, Tergum, as humans are now called, are trapped in the middle of a war between Lumen, vampires with a pure heart, and Acerbus, vampires of darkness. She didn’t ask to be different she just was, and even though most Lumen didn’t like her, she managed to make a couple friends, Mae, a shifter, and Ecko, a Lumen in line for the throne. With only a couple of weeks left until her 18th birthday, when Lumen can no longer protect her Sage is faced to make a decision, endanger the lives of all the people she grew up with and loves, or leave them behind for good.
