My first ever g/t work. Inspired by Arrietty, although different plot. Contains sfw interactions only (minus some angst) (43,000~ words). Everything takes place in modern day, but in a fictional reality where little beings (borrowers) live in the walls and take things that humans don't need. They're incredibly timid creatures, but excellent survivors and very agile. They'd look 100% human if not for their ears, tails, and feet. Carter is the youngest in a family of four, resilient with a daredevil spirit. After a tragic turn of events he's left to fend for his own, and manages alright, until the unimaginable happens. Barry's life
Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued

((I drew and own this cover!) Tinies were a newly discovered race to the humans, standing about three inches tall and many had already been captured and put into stores to become pets. While very few were sent to become experiments, to take tests that tried to figure out how on earth Tinies came to be. Molly was sent to a store, as you can probably see. But most of them are horribly cared for, being seen as pets, instead of tiny, living beings. Fed this slop, which is a blended mixture of water and bread. All are given white clothes, girls dresses, men boxers. Which never helped, because it was freezing. And they never bathed, hence the greasy hair and dirty skin. This story follows one in particular.
