Thought I'd switch things up a bit. It's always Karl forgetting the more he travels, but what if it were the other way around? What if instead, every time he travelled his friends and loved ones remembered less and less of him. Till eventually he's forgotten. No one ever knowing the extent if his sacrifice for their sake. The only evidence lying in the hundreds of journals. Laying records of a man long forgotten. His memory wiped from existence. Will they ever remember him?
Trigger warnings will be placed before chapters if needed. I'll be updating at least once or twice a month. Apologies for any grammar and spelling mistakes, I'll try my best but there are no guarantees. As my usual writing schedule occurs in between the hours of 12am and 4:30am. No clue how long this'll be, but enjoy.

So many heartbreaks. How many heartbreaks can one man take? It hadn't been many, but Quackity lost count quickly. Could he have another chance at love? But with who? After so many years of feeling dead, inside, and outside, he forgot how it felt to be truly happy. To be alive. To love. He completely forgot, after decades of limbo, he forgot how to truly live. Perhaps someone out there could make him feel himself again. All of this is written in a timeline that is close to the canon timeline that we are shown, but it is not exactly the same as you will read later on. This is all characters, even if Quackity's real name is used a few times, this is NOT shipping the CC's. No smut (SURPRISING FOR MY USUAL READERS!), just fluff, and angst. After uploading all of this from my notebook, I now realize how short this story really was and that the chapters are below 1,000 words, which is different for me considering I'm a pretty detailed writer... regardless, this one is for all of the readers who like shorter stories with a smaller amount of parts!Concluida
