Tommy wished, with all his heart, that his family wouldn't say it.
"You're a healer!" Techno continued, reaching over to ruffle his hair.
His tears did not stop flowing.
"Oh, Tommy, why are you still crying?" Wilbur asked, sitting up to comfort him. He pressed his thumb against the corner of Tommy's eyes, who wouldn't stop tearing up and sniffling.
"My ability is shit."

Tommy had an amazing life. He was growing as a content creator and he lived in a home with two lovely parents and his dog. But one day he got a call saying his parents died in a crash and he'd be taken away to an orphanage. By the time he was sixteen he easily kept up the act that he still had his family but it was getting harder for the boy. The same questions were repeated in his head as the world seemed to throw challenge upon challenge at him; Will it ever get better? Can I find a home? He stopped to look over himself in the mirror. His hair was still dripping and he had a couple bruises littering his face. Tommy also took note of the small scrape at the bottom left side of his jaw. He definitely looked like he'd gotten into another fight. His family was definitely going to be worried about that, he might even get a scolding from his dad about fighting. He was not looking forward to that tonight. He sighed as he approached the door. Slowly turning the knob and pushing it open. Whatever he was expecting to find at eight something at night, it wasn't this. In front of him sat his brother in a wooden dining chair, with a few drops of blood on his yellow sweater, holding a handful of tissues to his nose. His father stood in front of him, ice pack in hand, black wings bristled from worry. They only seemed to stand up more as the older man looked over Tommy.
