Skye flinched hard when she felt someone grab her by her shoulder. Through her hazy vision, Skye could see Chase stare down at her, his face showing nothing but worry. It wasn't until then that she could feel her dampened cheeks.
"Y-you need to get out of here."
Whatever Skye felt before vanished quicker than one could blink.
"W-what?"
"You need to get out of here," Chase repeated. He sounded desperate but uncertain.
A wave of fear and despair hit the Cockapoo like a load of bricks, followed by a powerful blow from a high-running train. Leave Chase? Abandon him with these people who are well prepared to murder?!

Adventure Bay has been getting threats by an anonymous group. At first, Mayor Goodway had tried to keep the situation on the down low, however, people began to notice when strange things start happening around the town.
Your average Chase X Skye angst story with a little sprinkle of Zuma X Rocky. You're welcome ;3

Out of the Blue
This is my first attempt at creating a fanfiction of my own ideas, lightly influenced by some I've read but almost every idea completely unique. I'm obviously not the best writer in the world, so I'm very open to criticism and just ways my grammar could be improved. This story was made mainly for the purpose of a hobby to do on some downtime that I have because I enjoy reading a ton, so why not give it a try on something. Why I chose Paw Patrol? I like dogs.. but I feel like there's so much you can do with your imagination in this fictional world. I've seen a ton of different franchises get fanfiction stories that are even crazier than Paw Patrol so maybe I can get some leeway in my choice. Either way I won't be abandoning this anytime soon, so if you want to follow me you can for new chapters. A brief overview: The Paw Patrol have been at their job for numerous years, and now times have started to differ. The two main pups of this story are now facing new challenges that were lightly touched earlier in their lives, but have since floated to their current surface. What changes will they have to overcome? What fears will they have to resolve? Will danger seek to make them suffer or will they come out on top? Read to find out in Out of the Blue. Side notes: This story will contain gay topics and tension. As well as some harsher, more mature topics such as some life threatening problems. Ex. Suicide, Murder, Homicide.. etc. There will be some decent gore in the works of this story, but they will be warned at the beginning of a chapter and before the paragraph so dw if you get triggered by it you can skip it with no repercussions. Lemon may also be added, unsure yet but I'll update this if it does. Thank you for anyone who's reading this and uh yea, hope you enjoy my silly attempt and something worthwhile. Five years ago, Chase had run away from Adventure Bay. He did it to protect the rest of the Paw Patrol after an incident where someone had told him that if he doesn't leave immediately, they were going to kill the team. Chase, to protect his friends and family, did as he was told. He left without saying goodbye. Five years passed and the person who threatened Chase was finally gone, so Chase was able to return to Adventure Bay. However, there is one problem. The rest of the Paw Patrol thought had Chase had died. They never replaced Chase's spot out of grief. And when Chase returns after many years, the pups aren't sure if they should trust him anymore. Is Chase going to be able to regain their trust? How is Skye going to react? Will they ever trust him again? Or will things never go back to normal? Only time will tell.
