Okumura Marumu (24) has had no luck in finding herself a new job after losing everything in a house fire. Most of the jobs she had applied for turning her down with the main cause being her new grievous injuries and horrifying scars with the most offending one being on the right side of her face. Hoping to get any kind of job she could do she applies for almost everything, attending interviews and staying at a motel after her discharge from the hospital.
But she finally manages to find new job, at the Armed Detective Agency no less, as one of their assistants!
