Finding out some life-changing news, Rose Hathaway leaves St. Vladimir academy after the accident, without Lissa Dragomir. Only a month before the accident, Rose was raped by none other than Lissa's older brother Andre.
One year later, Guardian Dimitri Belikov finds her to take her back to the academy in order to learn as she used to be one of the top in her classes as well as the fact that her mother is a very well-known guardian. Going back to the academy, Rose is faced with challenges as she must continue schooling along with raising her daughter, Adira.
