Set after Seabound(Season 14):

After Nya's sacrifice, the team fought the greatest evil ever, unlocking their new powers, and winning. Ninjago is freed from all evil. 
The "four" Ninja have saved Ninjago, but moved on with their lives, away from each other, with many conditions, with the death of two teammates. 
Jay - Jay is broken after not only losing Nya, yet also losing his best friend, Cole. In the final battle, Cole died in his arms, and he couldn't do anything about it. He lost Nya to the Endless Sea despite all his efforts for her to stay. 
Kai - Like Jay, Kai is also sad about losing his two teammates. 
Lloyd - Lloyd thinks that he has failed at leading his own team to victory. 
Zane - Zane works as a master inventor for Borg Industries. He revolutionized Ninjago, expanded the City, and made many things to honor the death of both Cole and Nya. 
What will happen when the four have a chance to save Nya and Cole?

Kai loves his small life and dreams of opening his own cleaning business, but his sister and best friend often dream of wacky adventures abroad. Prince Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon is stuck in his castle, under his father's rule. Unable to leave since his mother Koko's murder. His only friend, the guard his age ordered to protect him. After the events of skybound, jay is having trouble dealing with what happened. He is depressed and has a breakdown. With his friend's help he may be able to get through it all. Or will a villain from the past come back to destroy jay and force him to relive his trauma. I know this is a really lousy summery but the story is pretty good so give it a read. Mentions of rape and suicide Please Read: looking back on this story I am a bit embarrassed and ashamed that I talked about rape so casually. I may go in and edit it out.
