Haruko no Tenshi: My Angel

Haruko "Ruko" Meiji, was an original character casting from an old story I wrote, "Haruko no Tenshi", years ago. It was about an aspiring writer who was tasked to write a happy ending of her love story with her lover, Tenshi.

It was Tenshi's final request from her, to write them a novel where they had a happy ending, even if he was unable to fulfill it in reality. 

Tenshi was a photographer, and was known great in his job. But he falls sick with an incurable illness that slowly devoured his system. He hid it from Ruko then so she'd be able to finish his request. When she was finally able to finish her novel, it was too late for Tenshi to find out what was their written happy ending.

Ruko grieved and cried as she felt despair from Tenshi's death. The doctor explained to her how he asked them to kept it a secret until she was done with her novel. He left her a letter then which said, "Even if I'm not there to give you a happy ending like I've promised in the past, at least we had one in your novel. Please remember me by through your novel, and keep on smiling. Never forget to open you heart to someone new, but I always know you'll keep a part of me in you. -Tenshi"

With these words written at the end of his letter, Ruko fell into tears. And then on, she had kept the novel of her life with Tenshi unpublished, and kept it to herself in memory of him.
