This isn't a Y/N story...sorry but I do have a different story just for that called Fortunate Turns! Anyways this story is about a young lady that goes by Aleena Coffey. She is a intern at a government science facility and graduated very young. She has a roommate Christina Sanchez, who also is young for her age to be working for the government. One day Aleena meets one of the 'patients' that this so called science facility. They learn about each other and grow to be the 'best' of friends, but one day when their 'friendship' is put to the trails and test. Aleena sometimes needs all the help she can get from both 'patient' and Christina!

Slow burn series? I got no clue yet!

In the wake of ridding Oakwood of Wanderers, other dangers come creeping in and they're somehow linked to Luc's absent twin. The past returns to haunt the mutants in inconspicuous ways. Riley's life is yet again in jeopardy, but this time she's not alone. Luc and his family are all thrown into the teetering balance. More secrets are uncovered. A trap dawns on them all. Invisible threats start crawling from all directions. Who is the real enemy? TW : behaviours of depression and PTSD are displayed. I don't name them, but one of the character will be struggling a lot. It may not be suitable for everybody. Other adult matters are briefly included, but nothing explicit or intense.
