Fighting Together

Six months ago, 23-year-old Vida Hart was at her lowest. She almost OD'ed and pushed away every person who has ever cared about her for her addictions. She was careless, emotional, hurting from the death of her husband and couldn't find any better way to cope. She was overall broken.

Now, after spending the past six months in rehab, Vida returns with a newly found attitude and appreciation for life. She returns to her job determined to make amends with her boss, coworkers and job performance. She mends fences with her family and friends and even starts helping out in her community.

The only downfall is is that no one is exactly thrilled to see a former addict back in their community. Everyone knows her problems in her small town and no one is sure of how committed she is to fixing them. Berated and shut out, Vida is ready to go back where she started and loose all the progress she's made.

But just when she thinks everything is over, there's another light at the end of the tunnel. Blaise Foreman. Owner of the Clydesdale hotel, rich business owner who has worked his entire life for everything he owns. Stunningly handsome, charming, kind, sweet. And addicted. Severely. Also her best friends ex boyfriend whom is trying to win him back.

As Vida and Blaise work together to fight their addictions, they find another addiction in each other. How is it possible to fight the same addictions together? And when there's too many addictions, something has to give.
