Will and Eleven write to their friends weekly, and moving to a new city is rough. Many problems are encountered living in a new town. Making new friends is hard, and adjusting to a new school is even worse. For the people left behind, it can become extremely hard to deal with the separation from those you care about.
For Will and Eleven, Lenora Hills, the town they have moved to, is going to offer a neat sibling-like experience for the two.
A Trip is planned for the Byers. Spring break is right around the corner. By pure luck, the same week of spring break is Will Byers' birthday. A surprise trip to Hawkins is planned for the two week duration of this spring break.

Eleven goes to the beach nearly every day. The sound of the waves crashing upon the shore reminds her of the static sound of the TV. Since she no longer has her powers, she can only imagine what Mike is up to right now.
While at the beach, Eleven is sitting with her eyes closed. Suddenly, all is quiet. This quietness; this silence is then broken by the crashing of thunder and a loud, unearthly roar tearing out of the sky. Red lightning and large storm clouds engulfs much of this slightly cloudy day.
The storm ticks like a clock. Eleven, are you listening?
A New Evil has arrived. And it knows where to find Eleven.

Nick had always been protective of her brother, but how can she protect him now? AN: This will end up being a Steve x OC fic but I don't want to rush his character arch (which was so well done in the series).
