Avatar: The Return of Benders

In an Avatar the Last Airbender and Legend of Korra inspired world, in which bending is nothing more than a collection of tall tales and the Avatar nothing more than mythology, 17-year old Midori's life is forever changed when she freezes the water in her glass. Midori soon discovers that she is the Avatar, and learns about a secret society of benders, and of a cruel, underground government conspiracy. She learns of the twisted past that gave birth to her broken world, and realizes what she can do to restore it. Living in the poor and severely neglected outer ring of Ba Sing Se, Midori has struggled all her life just to survive. As a teenager, she must take on an unfathomable amount of responsibility and learn to claim her place in the world as the long-forgotten Avatar, and as a young woman who still must learn who she is. Midori's tale is one of struggle, love, self-discovery, romance, and friendship, which are all necessary for her to forge her own path and become the young hero that her people need her to be.
