Veil Morkaze, bodyguard of Lord Tigrevurmud Vorn and Knight of Alsace, serves under Lord Tigrevurmud Vorn. When Lord Tigrevurmud Vorn was only but a young boy, he inherited the province of Alsace due to his father passing away. Veil served Lord Tigrevurmud Vorn with passion, honor, and courage, even though he was not originally a Bruneishman, but instead, Veil was born in Thenardier.

When Veil was a young boy, at the age of ten, Thenardier was engaged in a war. One day, members of the Thenardier Army showed up at his door, informing his family that his father, who used to be in the Thenardier Army, but was now crippled due to being injured during the war, was drafted to once again fight in the war. Veil, knowing that his father would surely die if his father went to fight in the war once again, stepped up and took his father's place and took his own place among Thenardier's Army.

Now, in the present time, for reasons only know to Veil, Lord Tigrevurmud Vorn, and the people of Thenardier, Thenardier was after Veil, claiming that he must die for war crimes against Thenardier. Lord Tigrevurmud Vorn took Veil in and treated him as if he was a Bruneishman, leading to Veil's devotion to serving Lord Tigrevurmud Vorn.

The Kingdom of Brune was now engaged in a war against the Kingdom of Zhcted, a war the was already filled with bloodshed. Who will win in this current war? Find out here in "Madan no Ou to Vanadis: The Eighth Dragon Gear"!

The Last Knights of Cambria Book 1: Echoes of Gideon by kullman
16 parts Complete
Gideon Saint is dying for something exciting to happen in his life. With his love of history, he figures an internship at the museum has to be a good start, right? Anything is better than listening to his parents argue or sitting alone in his room doing research no one but him seems to care about. A chance encounter with a magical ring leaves him transported to an alternate version of ancient Wales, or as it was sometimes called, Cambria. 1432 Wales, to be exact. Here magic is the most powerful weapon of all as kings vie for power. Good thing Gideon's teleportation from the present has also left him with the ability to use magic, and he's quickly regarded as a powerful wizard. In this timeline, Wales maintained it's independence, but that's about to change. Henry V is on the throne of the England, and the greatest warrior king England has ever had has set his sights on Wales. Can Gideon help save his newfound friends and master his new powers, while living a double life in the 21st century? Ahem, living people die, dying people live, Henry V is here and he's awesome despite being the main antagonist, everybody is vaguely gay, swords are described in loving detail, people are not, lovely platonic friendships, did we mention swords? Yes, you may learn something about history, but that's a risk you'll have to take. Basically, think of this as a Percy Jackson type of adventure, but it's historical fiction instead of Greek gods. The narrator is 15 and the major supporting characters are 14, 17, and 19. That said, there's nothing in the way of content that's inappropriate for a younger reader. As always if you're not here to go on a fun little adventure find a different story. Trigger/Content: very mild language, some magic violence, fantasy violence. Self-harm is briefly discussed. Adoption issues are discussed as well as brief scenes of a abusive family. Characters briefly mention crushes and or dating, no real innuendos.

Rune and Ruin by LeonaPage
63 parts Ongoing Mature
To bait a falcon, a very small bird is fitted with ball weights attached to a string held by the falconer. When the raptor attacks, the rolling dive will tangle around the legs of both birds, thus ensuring the falcon cannot fly away. Further training involves both the string and treats, often meat from the same small birds, encouraging the predator to return to its handler. Centuries of war between the gods have caused an imbalance in the mortal world. Stark lines of division have resulted in three species, all vying for survival against an increasingly harsh world; The Tasuri, demon-shifters with noble houses stretching back before the founding of cities, shapeshifters in their clans and dens, and the Acera, those without fang, claw, wing, or hoof. The Tasuri city of Rune has never been more powerful, or more desperate. A plague has hit, a disease of infertility that is decimating the population of the purebloods and shifters. The Tasuri and shapeshifters turn their attention to the small, remote villages and towns of the Acera. Defenseless, there is nothing to stop the two powerful groups from enslaving the Acera and destroying the balance of their world beyond recognition. The ruin of the Acera is underway when the Tasuri House of Fyriin births a Warlord. The young warrior, Falx, takes his army of demons into the hills. There, he is gifted a young Acera slave as tribute. Thania has every reason to hate him, but she bears more weight on her slight shoulders than Falx could possibly know. What happens to the world when you take the bird away from her falcon? Warning: This is a historical fantasy, paranormal romance. It will have explicit scenes, including scenes of nonconsent. This world is brutal and harsh. Please take care before reading!
