Trying to find normalicy, Iris runs into some of the hardest decisions of her life. After overcoming trauma, she settles down and starts her future. But when problems keep popping up, how will she handle them? "I felt like I was back at the hospital, smelling the anesthetic-- hearing those wretched words over and over again. The news they gave me wasn't what crushed me, it was their pathetic apologies they gave me to go along with it that did. "Iris..?" I blinked, my thoughts leaving me. I heard my name. But it wasn't Hayden's voice.. It was like he could read my mind-- like he thought I was calling him down here. Which I wasn't. I wish he'd turn back. He should have never came here.. I shouldn't have encouraged him." ~~~~~~~~~~~ cнαяαcтєяs sσ ғαя: ιяιs нαydєη cσdy cαsey

"Death isn't just one thing that happens and is over with. That description fits life more. Death is eternal. I mean that's how I view it. Death brings joy and pain. In my opinion life should be viewed as death is. The end. Death is the beginning. A new life, a fresh new start. Its beauty is unmatched. I imagine it feels like stars bursting, a million smiles and just pure happiness." Cancer. What a pain. Valerie's crippling illness leaves her hospitalised, bored out of her mind, dreaming of how she just wants to be a normal teenager. Although her thoughts are constantly intruded by someone. The boy. She was intrigued by him, he visited everyday at the same time, 2:47pm. She wanted to know his story, why was he here? Is he visiting someone? Her curiosity overflowed her. Anyways, it didn't matter, for her illness was getting better and she could finally get back to school. Sophomore year. Gosh. She could finally be a normal teenager. Then she saw "him" in the school hallways. The boy. Although he seemed different, less warm, more cold. It was like he put up a façade and barricaded his true self.
