-I am looking at two dirt paths, one continuing to the right is very bright and jubilant path, that's lined with tall vivid green oak trees in which the shine of the sun bleeds through their leaves.  I then caught my breath when I had looked over at the left path, it was everything the beautiful right path wasn't. There was no sun, only a dark sky that crackled thunder multiple times every few minutes, and it wasn't sided by elegant oak trees, but by gargantuan, thorny grey branches that were twisted together in tangles and for that, I feared of having to enter. -

Have you ever walked outside at night? When it's so dark and you can't see a thing at first? I often do that and I'm never afraid. Because I know that after a while my eyes will adjust to the dark and I will be able to make things stand out. I'm always safe. I always know where I am. But not today, it was so dark, all I could see was a suffocating darkness around me. Aria my wolf huffed in annoyance when even she couldn't see a thing or couldn't pick up a scent around us. 'Ophelia, what's happening?' she muttered. 'I don't know' I whispered back aloud. The words had barely left my mouth when I heard something running quickly in our direction. I ran, not knowing what direction I was going. I tripped over something and fell flat on my face. Feeling a presence behind me I screamed and tried to crawl away...
