Jasper, at sixteen, was your typical punk. A mess of purple hair, piercings, leather jacket, damaged jeans, rock music and combat boots. Never having experienced any sort of romance, Jasper was completely and utterly confused as he starts developing strange emotions for the unbearably ordinary, almost invisible, Max.
Max, having been home-schooled his entire life due to health conditions, was lost as he was thrown into high school life, and completely perplexed as he is sucked into Jasper's world.
