Jessie Alosaina just wanted to live her life as a normal four-teen year old, amazing friends, cute boyfriend. An adorable three year old little sister Alia, and older brother, Nathan. And at the age of four-teen she was doing pretty well. Just until one day, after school. Reading cat in the hat to her younger sister, getting tongue tied at all the silly rhymes. The TV was on and Nathan was about to switch to foot-ball. When an international warning came on, preventing anyone from changing the channel. They had heard and everyone was scared. Alia was confused and scared. Jessie and Nathan gathered up everything, food water and clothing. Fear shot through Jessie as a strange deformed man jumped out of the blue and pinned her to the side of the truck. Nathan helped but was pulled back by a rubbery hand. She screamed and kicked but to no avail. A strange voice told her to calm down. She turned around to see her captor but only met a man in a large yellow suit, a big black mask and a respiratory device of some sort strapped over his mouth. What scared her the most though was the extremely large gun strapped to his back. She screamed again but was soon knocked unconscious.

What would you do if one second you were struggling to survive with your friends and mother in tow, and then you wake up to find yourself with a group of strangers the next - all during the country's takeover of blood-thirsty zeds? Megan couldn't believe her eyes. Her brain was muddled with confusion she couldn't get rid of, no matter how many times those strangers reassured her and explained what happened. But she had to accept it, even though it didn't make any sense to her. Megan had been with her mother every step of the way since everything turned to chaos, beginning just a year before, and now she was nowhere to be seen. And on top of that, she had the zeds to deal with. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in. However they didn't expect the human body to be as persistent as it is, the infection they spread mutating and making humans reanimate with a hunger for flesh. They thought they could contain it, control it even, but it's spreading faster than they thought. The world is dying faster than ever before. And Carisa only want to survive, to make it to the next day, bumping into an Alien she thought she'd be petrified. But upon further inspection... their not that much different that humans. Curiosity at its peek with both of them and so she gains a tail always creeping behind her. The aliens just won't let her go. Story is written on my free time so it has a lot of typos, sorry. Katherine Burns is one tough sniper. Stealthy, smart, basically invincible. But when her group leaves her behind, she's left vulnerable and weak. But just when she thinks it's over for her, she is saved by none other than 10K. They travel for two weeks before coming across a camp, where Kat finds one she's been missing forever. Kat wants to stay, but 10K decides to leave, which causes Kat to leave, bringing two old friends along. As they travel, there is nothing but tension between the group. Jealousy and envy is always around. Soon, 10K can't take it anymore, and he leaves. Kat, of course is heartbroken, but she before she can find him, her old group catches up. Will Kat find 10K? Will she forgive him for leaving and breaking her heart? Will Kat realize who she truly loves? I don't own any characters except for Kat, Zach, Lena, and thank you creative_writer_101 for Rose.
