I worry too much. Maybe I should join a club. My Mom wouldn't care, all she cares about is about her boyfriend and gambling. She couldn't give a damn about me if she wanted to. Everyone at school is talking about Valentines Day coming up. Like I care? My current boyfriend is cheating on me and thinks it’s okay. Ugh. Ah well, I’m going to sleep, maybe it will be a better day.
                                                                                             9:05 am
What is all this noise? Let me check downstairs. I walked downstairs to see my father working in the kitchen. “Morning Dad.” I said as I greeted him. My Dad’s an average size. Brown hair, hazel like eyes, and caramel skin color. He’s pretty tall also. It hurts my neck to always look up at him when he’s talking to me because I’m so short.
“What’s all this noise down here?” I asked.
“Just fixing up things and trying to put away the dry dishes,” Explained Dad. “Your mother never does anything.”
“Dad, why do you always bash Mom about everything? She’s trying her best you know?” I yelled.
“Do you see her cooking? Did you notice yesterday she took your six year old brother to a casino? That’s just irresponsible!” Dad yelled.
“Just stop!” I fired back. “God, it’s like I live in a court or something. Always bantering back and forth 24/7.”
“Yeah, whatever. Don’t come to me when she does the same thing to you.” I didn't want to argue anymore so I walked away. Where’s Mom? Where’s my brother? I didn't feel like asking my Dad. He wouldn't know anyway.I pick up my phone and slowly dial my Moms number.I watch as the buttons make noise as I slowly touch each number, making the intensity even stronger. A thousand thoughts were going through my mind. What if Dad killed them? What if they were in danger? My thought broke once I heard Mom's voice on the other end.
