All her life, Angel Draven believed she was human. An ordinary, everyday human. Only once she moved to Wolfram did she learn werewolves were real, as were vampires and shifters. The most startling discovery, was discovering her mother was a werewolf, making her an unawakened shifter. Well, a hop, skip, and a hot mess later, Angel had a choice to make: change into a shifter or die.

So, with a mission to save the shifters from the cruel vampires, and apathetic werewolves, Angel chooses to embrace her shifter nature. Like everything else in her life, it isn't sunshine and rainbows to change. It's agony. But that isn't enough to keep Angel down.

Now the question remains, what animal is she? More importantly, who will she choose as her mate? Or will the hormones of a newly changed shifter be too much for her to handle and force her to jump the one most susceptible to them? Better yet, what the hell is Angel going to do about Kyler?

A rough description, i know. I'm sorry. But, I have a few chapters, so I thought I would share them, I cannot promise when I will update, but as soon as I have another chapter, it shall appear! Mwahahaha.

Willow's had to fight to get to where she is now. She doesn't need anyone telling her what to do or how to do it. Her life is perfect the way it is, but it's near impossible for her to fulfill her wants of keeping her independent lifestyle. For starters, Willow isn't even human; she's a Volpe (fox-shifter), but being a Volpe is more complicated than simply being able to shift into a fox. For thousands of years, there were only humans and for those thousands of years, they killed each other over the color of their skin. But that was then. Now shifters are an everyday part of life and no one cares about the color of a person's skin: it's their species, and it's even worse than it was between humans and the levels of melanin in their skin. Volpes are the most hated of all the species. Supposedly cunning and deceitful to many, they are discriminated against and viewed as nuisances. Lupos (wolf-shifters) hate them most of all, with Volpes returning the favor. Lupos - with their powerful packs and Alphas throughout the world - have the obvious social advantage over Volpes, but that doesn't stop the world from turning and the natural course of events to happen. Every shifter will eventually find and bond to a person who compliments them in every sense for no other reason than a cruel twist of their reproductive biology. With little to no conscious decision as to who their "mate" will be, two shifters - two strangers - are forced together, their fates forever intertwined because of a chance encounter. To many, this is seen as a blessing, but to Willow, a so-called "soul-mate" is the farthest thing from her mind. Will the sparks fly or will the fists fly when she realizes that a member of the very species she resents so passionately is her mate? How can a Lupo ever be with a Volpe when all they see each other as are the harmful stereotypes of their species? How will their bond evolve into something that uncovers secrets decades in the making?

Finding out that your parents, the people that raised you your whole life, weren't your actual parents was hard. Being told at the ripe ol' age of eighteen that you're the last living member from an Ancient Shifter line, the one responsible for creating the First Shifters, was inconceivable. Especially when a group of assassins were on their way to exterminate me simply for just existing. Kidnapped from my bed by three extremely stunning and grumpy Alphas, and forced to attend a special Shifter University located in the middle of nowhere, I have to navigate an unfamiliar and unknown secreted world while simultaneously trying avoiding those who want to use my lineage to enact an age-old curse. Join Nova Nyx as she's dragged into a world full of Shifters, Secrets, and Startling Surprises. ~~~ "Mates?" I repeated owlishly, blinking rapidly at the one worded bomb they just dropped on me "What are Mates?" Instead of answering my question, they just stared back at me in silence, arms crossed over their broad chests. I ignored their silence, choosing to focus on second part of their sentence. "And you're telling me I have three of them?" I gawked "How many are you supposed to get? I can barely handle myself and my life at this point and you want me to worry about three other people?" Of course the most annoying man I've ever met smirked at my bafflement. "I don't think it'll be such a hardship for you" he said, arrogance lacing his tone "After all, I hear these three Mates of yours are very self-sufficient." "Don't forget extremely gorgeous" his Buffon of a friend chimed in, winking at me "That's a plus for you Princess." "One," the third one growled out at me, finally speaking up and adding subsistence to the conversation, startling the banter from the other two "You're only supposed to be blessed with one Mate in your entire lifetime."

Orphaned at ten, Angel's moved every few months to escape the monsters salivating in the shadows and protect the brother she hid from them. The new city she calls home is close to the town of her birth and holds the answers to questions she never knew to ask. But with these answers comes a great price. When you know who you are, so does the monster lurking in the dark. Can Angel learn the truth of where she came from without losing everything, including herself? Keep your head down, don't ask questions. Do not challenge things you cannot change. And do not stick your nose where it doesn't belong. Angel learned these lessons the hard way upon living on the streets. But she will suffer anything if it means her baby brother, Matty, is safe. He's all the family she has left in the world and if her monster finds Matty, he'll destroy him. Upon arriving in Wolfram, something compels Angel to break her rules. She feels safe with Marcus, the man in whom she finds a kindred spirit. And she's drawn to the teenage boy who rejects her the second they meet. A mysterious pain assails Angel, one that is unprompted as far as she can tell. The boy who rejected her, Kyler, seems to know she suffers it however, and is pleased. Unbeknownst to him, attacking others in her presence is not intelligent. Angel can defeat the cocky alpha in a fair fight even though she's human... isn't she? There are secrets in Wolfram, dark, sinister secrets. The residents of Wolfram aren't the only ones to realize Angel doesn't understand her capabilities. Someone else noticed Angel. And they will stop at nothing to get her.

JAREK She's an abomination-a constant thorn in my side. She has no right to be sheltered so closely by my mother and father, the alpha and luna of the Blood Moon Howler Pack. She is not of Alpha blood. Therefore she doesn't belong in this family or our pack. When I become alpha, I will toss her out with the trash. Silver will regret the day my mother found her; I'll ensure that. SILVER I was born partially shifted with my wolf ears and eyes that shift from blue to gold, then silver. My parents rejected me and left me to die at the border of The Blood Moon Howler Pack. Luna Celestia stumbled upon me and pitied the day-old baby who couldn't fend for herself. Jarek has made it his life mission to bully me any chance he gets. Lucky for me, our father, Alpha Maximilian, took me under his wing and taught me how to fight. I have become the fiercest warrior of the pack at only sixteen years old. Sadly due to Jarek and his minions Xillon and Zane, the future Beta and Gamma of the pack, I have been shunned by all of my peers. Will I ever be accepted by anyone in my life? Or will I constantly be rejected? One thing is for sure; once I turn eighteen, I'm leaving. I will make my way in life, even if it means being on my own for eternity. Writer's Note: Hybrid's Fury Unleashed has depictions of verbal bullying abuse. There are mature intimate scenes as well as mature language that are not suitable for readers under the age of 18. Mild gore and assault are also a factor as you get further into the book. With all of this being said; read at your own risk. I'll post trigger warnings as needed. Enjoy your reading and have a fantastic day. Also, please be a dear and don't plagiarize my work. Hybrid's Fury Unleashed is my first attempt at writing a paranormal shifter novel. Please be mindful of this as you proceed. If you notice areas where I can improve my style of writing in this genre please be kind in lending constructive criticism in a kind manner.
