Lexi has had a pretty hard life. Her mom and dad split up 2 months ago. When she goes to visit her dad he beats her whenever she comes in late or he figures out that she was at a party with her friends he grabs her and kicks her and slaps her in the face. Everything gets better she falls in love with a guy named Nathan and he is in the Army when he figures out her father is beating her he wants nothing more than to help her. But she just shrugs him off and says she is perfectly fine.
it isn't that she wants to push him away its just he is so concerned but the day he leaves they get into a fight.
