When artist, Laura Dunsmore, takes a job painting Christmas greetings on the windows of the local hardware store she leans a little too far off the top of a stepladder and lands on the store's new assistant manager, Gareth, who happens along and tries to catch her.
Gareth is enthralled with the pretty artist but Laura, who was dumped at the altar only a few months before, wants nothing to do with a new romance. However, when they discover that they're both members of the church choir and must continually practice together, Laura's plans to keep Gareth at a distance start to crumble.
