The one they all forgot

I sat there staring at the water, the wind blowing my hair wild in it's path. I feet dripped over the cold bridge and so were Hailey's. I was going to miss this. The wind, the ocean, my friends, my school, and even the drunk idiots falling all over this town. It was where I grew up. It was where I was used to and now it was taken away under my finger tips. It made me forget all the awful things that happened here. My parents death, getting smashed on to the sidewalk one to many times, and all the losers that dumped me because I "wasn't good enough". I looked at Hailey once more before hopping of the bridge and dragging my self back home. I could here her slow sobs behind me as I slowed down to let her catch up. She was the best friend ever, My only friend.
