On My Own

The high school year has begun for fifteen-year-old Lisa Hale. She experiences bullying and false accusations. She did not feel the need to inform her mother about her school drama.
She eventually falls in love with a boy, but the feelings don't end there.

Throughout her entire life, she has wondered where her father has gone. She suspects that Pamela, her mother, is hiding her father from her for a personal reason.

Lisa recognizes that people aren't worth holding onto and makes an effort to be on her own. However, things quickly get worse.

In her relationship with Lisa's father, Pamela, has endured a lot. After giving birth to Lisa, she did everything in her power to raise her as a single mother, but eventually things changed by one voice mail that was never meant to be heard by Lisa.
