I awaken to an unpleasant future. Sitting confused and terrified in a harsh, upward-moving cage, I find myself in the Glade with 60 teenage boys, trapped in the middle of a giant maze. I know I'm special. I'm 12 years old, female, and I come bearing my memories, unlike the Gladers. As we come closer to escaping, the Box comes up, holding a certain, very important 17 year old girl with dark braids and a talent for hunting. They're desperate to get out. We're desperate to know the fate of Panem. But I soon find myself wondering what kind of world we're returning to, and if it's really worth returning to at all?
This is the story of Primrose; Group Z, Subject Z13: The Heart.

Percy has no idea what is going on -- but then again, that's not really a surprise. There's these boys who call themselves the 'Gladers.' Stuck in a maze full of flesh-eating robot spiders, it would be pretty good to actually know what the heck is going on. But he remembers only Annabeth -- her name and nothing more. Annabeth is lost. She can sense she doesn't fit in with the girls who find her in the Box. They took her in -- they're like family. But she knows one thing. She needs to get back to Percy, well, whoever he is. I wake up to the sound of metal clanging off metal. It isn't a peaceful awakening I think. It was pitch black wherever I am, yet there is a sliver of light at the top of this.....tunnel maybe.
