Approximately Latin for "On the desert provinces", this is a short compile of poems regarding the conquest of three lands that were converted into Roman provinces. Canonically, the date and author of these poems are unknown, but it can be estimated to have been made after the third century, as the conquests of Rutubisais and Yathribensis/Scenitaea fall within Vespasian and Caracalla's reigns.

Persia expresses immense contentment with the end of the mortal enemy and takes the peace as an indicator for a rule of serenity. Only, it isn't quite so. The most treacherous member of the Kinkha blood is still alive, a threat which wasn't taken under consideration since the time she was born. An impending conspiracy dawns with her which includes many participants hidden within the empire under the forged veils of loyalty. The Lord of the Persian state of Bactria is Asmaka Araxa Kayasth, one of the five most prevalent powers which were involved in the victory of Cunaxa. Sharing a history of enmity with the Kinkha family name, he annexes Sogdiana while crushing them into nonexistence. He takes in a slave, without an idea about what all would come with her. 4th century B.C. Persia is the supreme empire of its time with Arthaxerxes II as its shahanshah. A period which was drawn by the blood and valor of the most prodigious rulers and the knowledge of self-actualization throughout the world. Secrets of the Sacrificial Princess
Aset Bæsidhe Eris Styx is the third Princess of the Yam Empire which makes up the northern half of the continent. Her father, the Emperor, has chosen to send her as both a hostage and for a political marriage with the most feared, violent, and blood thirsty of the Khagan's children. The Fifth child and the Third Prince, Erdene. The first Khagan of the Khalkha had unified the vast southern half of the continent in order to prevent the Northern Empire from conquering any further. Uniting the various, diverse and unique tribes across the deserts, the steppes and even those that dwelled within the base of the mountains. The Khalkha had no faith in the Yam Empire, they were far too greedy for the resources of the south, the Ulaan the Khalkha called it, to just give up and call a truce after hundreds of years of war and bloodshed. Aset, however, is far more than some abused, weak, and helpless princess she is believed to be. This wolf in lamb's skin is a variable that neither side of this uneasy truce, this unending conflict, were prepared for. *Please note that the Khalkha are very loosely based on Mongolian nomads. The Southern half of the continent is made up of various tribes, clans, cults, etc. etc. I pulled from the Mongolian language and social structures for inspiration, but again this is a fantasy novel with magi (or various terms meaning something similar dependent on culture) who use magic, supernatural abilities and fantasy creatures, not a historically accurate fiction. I have also pulled from various mythologies and cultures such as Egyptian in a sort of mash up of sorts. The Northern half of the continent is run by the Yam Empire which resemble European nobility social structure, but naming, some myths and religion, and cultural history is pulled from ancient Canaanite's. Again, this is a fantasy novel, not a historical fiction.*
Nailing Your Dictatress
You met Julius Caesar and he's a pretty (and devious) lady...? Forty years before Caesar's fateful crossing of the Rubicon, there was another dictator - one who set the stage for the empire to come. A powerful strongman who declared himself the savior of the Roman Republic as he burned it to the ground. What was he thinking as he shattered hundreds of years of tradition to march the legions on Rome itself? What about when he sank the city in mass terror as he put up his famous proscriptions? In the historical record, we are left with only pieces of their story, meaning to really understand what he was like, we had to be there. Modern-day everyman Richard Williams knows little of ancient Rome or its citizen-farmers, praetors, or garum. However, he does know he needs to work three jobs a week to support himself, broke up with his girlfriend, and has died in a traffic accident. Therefore, he's rather confused when he wakes up in Rome two millennia ago and meets a seven-foot tall horned woman with massive assets. Despite his lack of knowledge in this regard, he's pretty sure that's *not* part of history. A very, very, very historically accurate retelling of the fall of the Roman Republic in a gender-role reversed world where the whims of powerful women move the fates of nations.
