Approximately Latin for "On the desert provinces", this is a short compile of poems regarding the conquest of three lands that were converted into Roman provinces. Canonically, the date and author of these poems are unknown, but it can be estimated to have been made after the third century, as the conquests of Rutubisais and Yathribensis/Scenitaea fall within Vespasian and Caracalla's reigns.

-Divided in three poems
-Provinces picked just to make them appear on Google.
-Based off of moxn's "Roma Invicta: The Heroic Age" map, with nothing taken from the story

The Centurion's Woman by FliederAmanda
107 parts Complete Mature
Alexandria "Alex" Moldovan fell asleep at a work retreat and woke up in the same place, just not in the right time. The situation improves when she's inadvertently rescued by a Roman Centurion, and as long as she can keep her wits - and his affections - she might just survive this. But trading one slave class for another doesn't help with the trouble that always seems to find her... Ixillius Traversi had been leading his century on a routine razing, but the slave he found imprisoned, injured and starved in the village is anything but typical. That she was alive seemed barely possible, and then she'd saved his life... and she wasn't afraid of him. He claimed the woman who called herself Alex as his slave, be it a curse or a blessing, but he still needs to know one thing: who is she? The Centurion's Woman is set in Germania Inferior circa 5 AD, and Maiden discovers that a two thousand year culture shock may be the easiest problem to overcome, but it won't be the last... Trigger Warnings: beatings / abuse (people and animals), starvation, battle, blood, sex Please note: This story's historical elements are based on the research I did as a writer; I'm not a historian. "Maiden" is Book 1, "Warrior" is Book 2, and "Scholar" is Book 3 of my Historical Fiction trilogy, an adult romance titled "The Centurion's Woman", published through FriesenPress. A shroud of darkness descends upon Idilia, a world nestled within the vast Realm of Realis. Astra, the once-noble Crimson Knight, and high-ranking Vanamir Vice-Councilor, has shattered the very veil separating creation from the Non-Creation in his insatiable quest for power. This reckless act has unleashed a tide of malevolent energy, threatening to consume Idilia in an endless night, revealing secrets from centuries past. Hope emerges from an unexpected corner. Five Fae, seemingly unconnected by destiny but brought together by tragedy and darkness, find themselves bound by a greater purpose. Dagda, the refugee adventurer; Aeliana, the Stellar Nomad sorceress; Ashana, the enigmatic mage; Pontha, the walking statue; and Sylvan, the barbarian warlock - their paths converge. Guided by an unseen hand, they unite to form a formidable resistance. Their mission: to locate the legendary Ætheric Scrolls, which hold the key to harnessing the power of the Primordials, ancient beings who hold dominion over the fundamental forces of the universe. This power might be their only hope to vanquish Astra and quell the encroaching darkness before it extinguishes the last flicker of light in Idilia. In a desperate race against time, these unlikely heroes embark on a perilous quest, their every step fraught with danger. The fate of Idilia rests upon their shoulders, and the very balance of creation hangs in the precarious balance.
