She walked inside the church and was immediately overwhelmed by the number of armed men and women around her. The speed her feet had didn't allow her to examine their faces one by one but as she skimmed through them, her eyes fell on Jacob's. A pair she knew all too well. She gasped. Would she really have to arrest the man she once loved and respected? Would she have to hurt him? Was he now her enemy? "Rook, put the cuffs on him." With that, she was pulled out of her thoughts. It felt like an invisible force turned her head towards the shirtless man infront of her as he held his hands out to her. Ps. Soulmates - souls that destined to be together. This happiness is given to almost everyone in the world, you just have to grab it. Amelia buried that dream long ago, though the nightly thought that someone might love and free her from her abusive family, somehow keeps her alive. Three names adorn her left forearm, three people she will never meet, three soulmates who will never love her. Statements her parents told her every day. Joseph, John and Jacob pushed the thought of their soulmate to the back of their minds. They couldn't afford any distractions now that project Eden's Gate had finally reached its climax. The chances of finding the person who should belong to the three of them after all these long years were dwindling anyway. They didn't need anyone, they had each other and God himself on their side. A soul mate would only make them weak and vulnerable. So what would happen if these four ill-treated souls, nourished with hatred and despair, finally met?
