Tony Stark meets Hadrian Eric Potter in Siberia where he is searching for a place to live since he became a creature of the undead. When he saw Tony almost dead, he decided to help Tony by giving a choice to immortal or to die since the damage is going to be hard to heal especially the broken arc reactor that is reaching his heart fast. Tony agreed since he has other people he cares for to let him survive. Hadrian did surgery to remove every metal and heal all wounds before the transformation.
