Kurt's life hasn't been the best. He lost his parents when he was a kid, leaving he and his younger sister to live with an alcoholic foster mother. The only things that have gotten him through life are his sister and his best friend, Grady. He finds out he got accepted to a private school in Massachusetts, which is everything he wanted. Even though it means leaving behind everyone he loves, he knows this will be good for them, giving them hope for a future. When he gets to the school and meets his gorgeous new roommate, Payton, he realizes he may be in over his head. Things get worse when students at the magnificent Hoover Academy start winding up dead, with no clues pointing to the killer. Kurt's life starts spiraling into chaos as he gets too close to the killer and too close to Payton. How will this end, with Payton or Grady? Or with death?
