They didn't know what to do, it all happened so fast. Grab anything or anyone you can, get out of the city, run. That's what everyone said.

Emily Zederit was only 14 when the outbreak broke out. Her parents had been gone for over 7 years, died in a car crash. Her foster home didn't treat her well, but not terrible either. She went to a private school along with the other kids in the home. It was small, but suited the purpose well.

Emily definitely wasn't the brightest star in the sky, and people noticed it. The other kids in her school bullied her, calling her 'whore' 'dumb fuck' and 'slut', but she just ignored them. She had a group of friends that would comfort her when she needed it, and that's all gone now.

That was pre-apocalypse, now it's post. Emily will have to learn how to survive, and know that one little mistake now, could change yours and others lives forever.
