Altmis, the top gaming company, recently develops a new way to game. By tapping into the unused portion of one's brain, they are able to immerse the player into a world unlike any other game played before. As real as if they were actually there, the Rift program sends the player into their own mind in a world with infinite possibilities, where each decision can drastically change the gameplay.
Wren Xavier, the CEO of Altmis, goes into the first program of the Rift, Athalos, to test it. Athalos is a massive world of magic and strife set in the genre of medieval fantasy. When he decides to become a Millen, he unknowingly chooses to become the hero of the story, able to wake the mystical swords Phoenix and Gyr and save Athalos from the savage faction of the Lancers, bent on destroying the kingdom. Will he be able to figure out how this new world works, build friendships along the way and save the world he has created?

Chronicles of Magic: A VRMMORPG Story
If you like things such as Overloard, SAO, or Reincarnated as a Slime, then this might be right up your alley. If you like stories where you follow the antagonist, this definitely is up your alley. The first part of this is a condensed version of half the events of how Sky began to gain power. The next part (starting at MC Meets MC) will be the isekai! Of course there's an isekai and will contain the meat of the story for awhile and takes on a new perspective through Lyra. Sky's story returns later (starting at Back To CoM: Sky's Journey Continues). I will eventually rewrite and edit this story and separate it into 2 separate self-contained books. I'm a player in the hit VRMMORPG (virtual reality massively multiplayer online role-playing game) Chronicles of Magic. A fantasy based game set in a world full of monsters, diverse NPCs, unique quests, and an ever evolving story that unfolds based on player choices. Anything is possible with the world of CoM. Even character creation and evolution are influenced by subtle choices made by the Player. The stat system is complex with point values that influence every aspect of the character.
