Tired of the constant backlash from her family about being single, Emma finds herself striking an arrangement with a roguishly handsome stranger at the mall the day after Christmas. This is my first fanfiction so please bear with me. This is a captainswan highschool au. Emma has just moved to Storybrooke with her apparent birth parents straight from the system. Killian Jones, captain of the football team, is a popular, bad boy, womanizer. Emma is the first girl who hasn't fallen for his charms, and he is determined to have his way with her before prom. There will be eventual smut you have been warned. -- I actually hate this. It's so cliche and terribly written - don't waste your time. I was 12 when I wrote this.

Emma Swan has finally married Killian Jones, and has officially become a part of the Jones family. Their love is undeniable, but what if it isn't as strong as they thought? Will Killian's fame and new-found-fortune put a strain on their relationship? Maybe an unexpected surprise on their honeymoon will pull them together, or possibly push them apart. Will they have everything they thought they were meant to have? Are they destined for love, or a world of regret and pain?

This is an AU("modern") Emma/Killian fic... it's inspired by Christina Perri's Music Video "The Words"... watch it, and you'll see these two first chapters are almost a "copy" of that song... (pretty much, with stuff left out for some, maybe, later chapters.) What happens when his quiet life is turned upside down by Emma Swan entering his life. Fluff ensured... yeah that's it basically.
