A whole community of retired magicians in a whole district of magic folk, and for some reason, no one thought to tell the one guy working in the magic bookstore who has no magic in him whatsoever. Well, not like they had any reason to, right? Not like any crisis ever happened, ever going to.. they only ever used what little magic they had left to (sometimes) get lucky on the capsule machine or to find their lost pets or something. The kid'll probably never have to encounter magic in his life.
Right. And then of course his co-worker had to have her parents die, and the bakery had to burn (not the bread!!), and then everything came crumbling down. And for some reason, it's all his fault. Thanks, life.
Stuck with nowhere to hide and no place to go, Shion is forced to fight with the only semi-reliable thing he's got left- his mind.
