The world has been taken over by ageless aliens that can not see.

Cecilia is a girl who has adapted to living like those aliens, with only her hearing.

Her family is already dead, and she was left with scars to show for the fight she put up to survive.

As she wonders around trying to survive in silence, she meets a boy and his group of small survivors, friends, and family. A group of misfits.

They team up, learning to live like her as they fight for survival against the beasts that hunt the humans, and the people who have started to go crazy from the invasion.

Clans of people, who call themselves ' the new worlders ' have heard of the girl with scars on her face to prove she survived the venom from the aliens that no one else has.

And now they race to find her, to use her for breeding to create a new human era that could survive.

Cecilia must survive their wrath and the aliens, and along the journey, she might just find love in the leader of the group of misfits she learns to call family.
