Life will tear you down and leave you in its shadow, and it will keep you there forever if you let it. Neither you, me, or anyone else will be able to hit as hard as life, but it's not about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit, yet keep moving forward."
No one ever said the world was easy. No one said that you would slide right by in life without any problems. There's suffering, poverty, murder, hatred.... There's so much bad in the world, sometimes the good gets hidden under a shadow.
This story follows a few of many lost people and their individual struggles to get out of the dark and find some light in their life; even if they believe there is none. This is their journey to find the path they lost and persevere.

This is a story of how Mental Health can impact someone and how the things that happen had different ways of making them feel. Everyone suffers no matter how much we think we're alone, there maybe someone out there more disconnected from the rest of the world. If you had the power to help the other and didn't take it does that make you a bad person? If you had one chance to correct the world would you take it? If you were given one power what would it be? No matter what choice you make it will come haunting back to you. The good the bad there's a fine line between what people perceive as good and bad it's up to you to decide that.Complete
I'm Fine. Just Broken. (Major Editing)
I honestly didn't realize how broken I was. I just figured that if I shut all my feelings out that they would go away. They didn't. They came back strong as ever. And I did the worst thing that I could do. I let my feelings get the best of me. My daddy told me to never let anyone walk over me. And yet that is exactly what everybody does. It's like he knew that this was gonna happen like he wanted me to be prepared. Too bad I didn't listen. And now no one's here to help me. And then the new kid comes along. Jake Johnson. He caught my eye the first time I saw him. I can look at him and tell that he had a story. And I wanted to know it. He helped me in a way that I thought nobody else could. Angela
COMPLETED- Angela has suffered from mental depression and disorientation ever since her mum died, she is constantly abandoned and nobody is ever there for her. But when a terrible accident happens causing Angela to permanently lose her sight, the only ones she had left walk away. Except for one, a boy, he is the one who doesn't care about Angela's blindness or depression, he is the one she trusts. Slowly but surely a relationship forms between the two, but the relationship leads to dark times and simply makes the crucial decision Angela has been trying to make for years since her mum's death, to live or to die, harder. Evolution
There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally. I am putting this out for the whole world to see because I hope everyone will learn from my experience. People can see. We have no excuses to continue living our lives in ignorance. ...WARNING... Better Times
Before it all started. Before life became a living hell. Before everything shattered. This was better, it was peace. You could call it heaven. I call it a delusional dream, or perhaps they would prefer me to call it ignorance. No matter what it is called, it's all I have left of a peaceful existence.
