In the year 6017, Lazuli Glaceon and Crystal Vaporeon founded Icebox City, where a new generation of Eevee was born. Spike the Absol made technological advances, most of the time developing a prototype to revive dead Pokemon. As the founder of Team Ascent, however, he was a target for a certain Hitmonlee that wanted to revive someone, someone on Spike's naughty list, which was his cousin. Because Spike refused to revive his cousin, many attempts were made to steal the reviving machinery and the ingredients (which included DNA).
