All of his life, Azar has been around bloodshed, wars, and countless battles which have scared him,  both mentally and physically. When he was 7 and just beginning his magic training, his parents were killed and he was injured badly. But most importantly he was blinded while trying to get away in which he succeeded in doing so. He had arrived at the Tree of Life and now has been living there since. 

Since, he was blinded at such a young age, he was given the gift of Seeing. No, he does not have his sight back, but he can see the auras of other people and help to locate them. Since his family are descendants of very powerful ski walkers, he was open with many magical and mysterious abilities. One of those abilities to talk to the dead and see them as well.

Now, a Prince form the Pride lands and one of his friends have come to be healed by the Queen.  Azar can feel auras, so he feels the Kion is losing against the scar that he wants to heal so desperately. So, Azar will help him, but in the midst of that Surak and Azar have a spark of something in between them and are bound together.

When Kion was caught, Simba was furious. He told Kion he had to choose. Kion was put into a situation where he had to decide from respect, love, and affection, or his family. Kion had one week to decide, but in one week, there can be many changes, and in that week, Kion found love...but was it what he wanted? When Simba told Kion to decide, Kion was in fury. Karissa lived a calm life in South Town with her father, Peter. Upon her mother's death in her teens, she rebuilt herself, and lets her mother live on in her memories. As her 18th birthday approaches, she begins to have strange dreams. Her childhood best friend, Amanda, and their new friend Lorelei from the northern city of Irkah, one day overheard a conversation that will soon change their life forever. Just two days before her birthday, grief sets in when her friends go missing, and she's left without them, not knowing where they could be. On the day of her 18th, she discovers that her eye has changed color. Scared and confused, she confided in her father and Amanda's grandmother, Rhian.
